I am holy; I see holiness in everyone and everywhere.
Before I became more aware, it seemed there were places where the presence of God felt especially near, places that felt holy. These may have included churches, other houses of worship, shrines, and favorite places in nature.
In the poem, “Prayer for Protection,” James Dillet Freeman wrote “Wherever I am, GOD is.” In his book, Practical Metaphysics, Eric Butterworth said it this way, “GOD is Spirit, present in ITS entirety at every point in space at the same time.” This means the entirety of the DIVINE is present in every one of my 37.2 trillion cells! I am Divine and I am human.
Because I am DIVINE, I AM Holy. I can perceive holiness in everyone and everything. Every person is holy. Every place is holy ground.
