 Security

I am grateful for the security of Divine Love.

At times I may feel unsafe and sought security. However, scripture reminds me that “It is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6) and “If God is with us, who is against us?” (Romans 8:31) Today I understand this to mean that the Lord of my being, my Divine Nature, provides my sense of well-being and security because I am never separate from It.

As I enter into the new year, I remember and am grateful for my Divine Nature. I am Love. I welcome the opportunity to be a source of love and nurturing for all living beings and for the planet itself. I am safe because I am Divine. I affirm and strengthen my own sense of security.

I am grateful for the security of divine love.

Christmas Eve

I give birth to new expressions of my Christ Self.

In one story the shepherds left their sheep; in another the Wise Men completed their journey. Joseph stands in loving support as Mary prepares for the birth of a new light into the world. I contain all these energies within my consciousness—the fear, the confusion, the anticipation, the joy.

I cannot know what the New Year will bring or predict just how my newborn commitment to my Christ Nature will express. It is enough to be still and at peace, to embrace the uncertainty. I appreciate the choices I have in this moment. I am grateful for the sources of love and support I’ve had along the way. Everything that I’ve experienced I used in preparation for this holy night. I release limitations as I give birth to new expressions of my Christ Self in the world.

Joy

I expand my own joy giving from the Principle of Generosity.

The poet Rabindranath Tagore wrote: “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” During the holidays, I remember the true spirit of the season, which is the spirit of giving. Giving is fundamentally based on the Principle of Generosity.

My service to others can be as simple as sharing a smile with a stranger or sharing words of gratitude. It might be as involved as volunteering at a homeless shelter or offering childcare to a harried friend.

With a full heart I willingly and lovingly share my joy with others today. As I focus on the infinite Principle of Generosity rather than seeking or getting this season, my spirit is uplifted. I experience joy and peace—the greatest gifts of the season!

Hope

I am filled with hope as i behold the wonder of life.

Watching children discover the wonders of life reminds me our Divine Nature is the source of life at the center of everyone. Hope infuses and pervades everything. Holding this truth in mind, I know that each and every person and thing is underwritten and backed by Divine Principle according to Divine Law.

I know all of nature is fundamentally Divine, I help preserve the environment supporting the abundance of life. I honor my Divine Nature by honoring every person and thing because of the Divine we have in common.

As I view the abundance and diversity of life with wonder, I take hope in the awesomeness of ever unfolding Divine Principle according to Divine Law. I live from an awareness of sacred Principles and Laws sustaining all life.

I am filled with hope as I behold the wonder of life.
