Home Blessing

I claim Divine Love; I bless my home with love and harmony.

When I consider the seemingly negative energies in the world around me, I may wonder how my positivity makes a difference.

The answer is found within my home. My love and harmony enfold and fill my home, ensuring that it is safe and comfortable. My love and harmony touch and bless all who live in my home and those who visit.

If there is another space that I consider a sacred space – a nature sanctuary, a spiritual center, my office or more – I bless it with love and harmony. It, too, radiates my love given freely from my heart.

I am grateful for the comfort and support my home provides me and all who enter there.

I claim Divine Love; I bless my home with love and harmony.

Oneness

In Oneness, I use the Power of Love to be loving.

Jesus shared, “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). His followers loved one another by gathering in spiritual communities, sharing freely, and giving to those in need. Their fundamental Reality was Universal Oneness and using the Power of Love to be loving.

I remember Jesus’ words and experience Oneness and am loving with all other beings. I know that we are essentially Spirit; at this most profound level, there is only Oneness.

From the Oneness, remembering the Power of Love, I radiate peace and love. In my work, play, and service to others, I remember that the only unchanging Reality is Oneness. In doing this, I am reaffirming Oneness, Universal Love and loving all life.

In Oneness, I use the Power of Love to be loving.

Freedom

I am Divine, I am free and unlimited.

The words of the “Prayer for Protection” were originally penned by James Dillet Freeman for the men and women in the arm services during the World War II. On this Veteran’s Day, I bless all who serve and have served to protect our freedom.

          The light of God surrounds us;

          The love of God enfolds us;

          The power of god protects us;

          The presence of God watches over us.

          Wherever we are, God is!

But wait, there’s more! You and I are the Light; you and I are the Love; you and I are the Power; You and I are the Presence; Wherever you and I are, the Divine Is.

I am grateful I am free and for those who have defended our freedom. I value it and use it wisely.

I am Divine, I am free and unlimited.

Grace

I am Divine; Instead of lashing out, I offer grace.

The Gospel of Luke tells the story of a father who divides his property between his two sons. After wasting his inheritance and then experiencing extreme poverty, the younger son returns to his father’s home humbled. When the young man declares his unworthiness to be called “son,” his father gives him gifts and celebrates his homecoming. His father offered his son grace instead of condemnation.

This story demonstrates the grace we can offer each other. When someone “does me wrong,” I might want to lash out in a multitude of ways. However, when I remember I am Divine, I know I am the Principle of Benevolence. Instead of punishment or unforgiveness I use Benevolence to offer grace. When I am tempted to enter into self-condemnation, I offer myself grace.

I am Divine; Instead of lashing out, I offer grace.
