Inner Peace

I find the Principle of Peace in the Silence.

The Hebrew scriptures tell the story of the Lord commanding the prophet Elijah to “stand on the mountain before the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” As he waits, Elijah fails to find God as he endures a wind strong enough to split mountains, an earthquake, and then a fire. Then Elijah discovers God, in a sound of sheer silence.

The Silence is a state of total non-awareness. When I come out of this state, I may experience inner peace – a peace that passes understanding. I manifest this peace from the Principle of Peace.

Sometimes chaos surrounds me as I find inner peace. Other times, the chaos may be inside me. I persist in my efforts as I confront inner storms, fires, and earthquakes. Like Elijah, I remain steadfast in faith until inner peace is mine.

I find the Principle of Peace in the Silence.

 Power

I have absolute power over my thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds.

POWER is one of the TWELVE POWERS, sometimes known as DOMINION.  “GOD is POWER; man is powerful. GOD is that indescribable reservoir of stored-up energy that manifests no potency whatever until set in motion through the consciousness of man …” (Fillmore, Charles, Jesus Christ Heals, p. 26)

DOMINION is a POWER I use to be powerful. I use the POWER that God is. I embody DIVINE POWER by choosing words that affirm the TRUTH that I am SPIRITUAL BEINGNESS as I navigate the valleys and peaks of my human experience.

I have dominion over my thoughts, feelings, words and deeds. I affirm statements of Truth while releasing any negativity. I think and speak with the authority from my CHRIST NATURE.

I have absolute power over my thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds.

Pray with Others

As I pray with others, I affirm unfolding good

in their lives and in mine.

Honored by the trust of those who request my prayers, I listen with compassion and then release all thoughts of illness, lack, limitation, or inharmony.

Knowing that my responsibility is not to set the situation right but to see it rightly, I look beyond challenging conditions and attune to the essential TRUTH that the one for whom I pray is innately DIVINE and desires, like me, to express more and more of their DIVINITY.

I know that the DIVINE, the CHIRST PRINCIPLE or I AM, is present in my consciousness and the consciousness of the one for whom I pray. We use IT to restore wholeness in mind, body, emotions, and guide all decisions, inspire prospering ideas, and bring harmony and peace to all relationships.

As I pray with others, I affirm unfolding good

in their lives and in mine.

Time Enough

I find time enough for all I desire to accomplish.

How can I best invest my time and resources today? I begin by remembering my SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE, my DIVINE FACULTIES that provide all I need to meet any opportunity or any challenge that life presents. I also follow the example of Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore: “I spring forth with a mighty FAITH to do the things that ought to be done by me.”

I use the PRINCIPLE of ORDER to prioritize my agenda. I utilize ELIMINATION to release whatever I discern is not mine to do. I work my WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING together to guide myself toward the most effective way I can complete each task. I use STRENGTH and ZEAL to maintain my energy and enthusiasm. I employ LOVE to desire the good my efforts are accomplishing.

I find time enough for all I desire to accomplish.
