Rest

I do my work according to Divine Law,

then I rest in faith.

The Sabbath is any day of the week. Charles Fillmore writes: “The Sabbath is kept any time we enter into spiritual consciousness and rest from thoughts of temporal things. Then we let go of the external observance of days, because every day is a Sabbath on which we retire into Spirit and identify ourselves with the things of Spirit.” (Adapted, Fillmore, Charles, The Revealing Word, alphabetical under Sabbath)

Sabbath is when I set aside regular time in my life forgoing into the Silence, into the realm of Spirit where I find true rest and peace. This is an essential part of the creative process—I do my work according to Divine Law, and then I rest in faith knowing Divine Principle completes the process.

Assurance

I am assured all things are possible through the ageless omnipotence of my sacred self.

The apostle Paul frequently wrote of the pain and suffering he endured in the course of his missionary travels. He described his difficulties not as complaints, but to emphasize his assurance that the ultimate glory of Christ mind is infinitely greater than mortal limitations. “I consider that the sufferings of this present time,” he wrote in Romans 8:18, “are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.”

I trust the same spiritual assurance to move myself through my day. My intentions may not be revealed, my body and mind may seem intent on emphasizing obstacles and fears. Still, I move gratefully forward, knowing that nothing can affect the spiritual Power that is my True Identity.

I am assured all things are possible through the ageless omnipotence of my sacred self.

Imagination

I imagine new and positive possibilities for my life.

The Psalmist shared, “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Proverbs 4:23) When I imagine the unlimited possibilities available to me, I also consider the words attributed to Jesus, “Whoever … does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” (Mark 11:23)

I use my Power of Imagination to shape and form ideas – both Divine and relative. It is through desire that what I imagine becomes part of my inner experience. I use Imagination to shape Divine Ideas into new possibilities, transforming today’s vision into tomorrow’s adventure.

My heart-centered belief in my Divinity and the Power of Imagination ensures that my life grows and expands in beautiful ways.

I imagine new and positive possibilities for my life.

Insight

I see my life clearly from the insight of Christ Consciousness.

The apostle Paul wrote, “The Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27) and “Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5) Metaphysically understood, these phrases mean that regularly coming into Christ consciousness transforms my view of everything. My Christ Consciousness empowers my insight.

No matter how today’s events may unfold, I am never overwhelmed because outer events do not cause my inner experience. My insight shows me that my inner experience of outer events is based on my current beliefs.

My spiritual journey begins with self-awareness of my Divine Nature. As I deepen my awareness of my Christ Consciousness, my insight deepens. Through the Power of Love, I desire to see through worldly appearances and events to the spiritual Truth underlying and underwriting everything.

I see my life clearly from the insight of Christ Consciousness.
