Appreciation

I cheerfully appreciate the good in my life.

Appreciation and gratitude are expressed from the PRINCIPLES of BENEVOLENCE and GENEROSITY.

Every day I invest time appreciating the abundance surrounding me. I notice the beauty of the natural world, the talent and dedication behind the music and art I enjoy, and the skill and commitment of the people who work to maintain a safe and orderly world.

What I focus on in my mind grows in my mind and in my awareness. As I focus my attention on everything I appreciate, the more I notice to appreciate.

I give my full attention to someone I care about during a meal, a favorite activity, or simply a quiet moment together.

I appreciate my life’s bounty and feel gratitude for the love and beauty that enriches my life.

I cheerfully appreciate the good in my life.

Compassion

I am lovingly kind and compassionate.

Compassion is the awareness another’s hardship combined with the desire to ease it while providing comfort. Compassion arises from my use of the PRINCIPLES of LOVE, GENEROSITY and BENEVOLENCE.

Jesus is my role model. The authors of the Gospels reported on Jesus’ legendary compassion. He demonstrated awareness of the needs and feelings of friends and strangers alike. He eased it while providing comfort.

Jesus did not turn away from social outcasts; he healed them and shared meals with them. His compassion fed a multitude and restored wine to a wedding reception. Jesus wept when Lazarus died. Even when his disciples deserted him as he was crucified, Jesus focused on forgiveness.

When I am aware of another’s distress, I listen deeply with an open mind and heart. My kind words and loving presence provide comfort.

I am lovingly kind and compassionate.

Pray with Others

 I vigorously affirm principles for

everyone I hold in prayer.

When people ask me for prayer support, I feel deeply honored. As I join them in prayer, I remember the words of Charles and Cora Fillmore in Teach Us to Pray, “A prayer without desire in it, a prayer without sincerity in it, a prayer without soul in it, a prayer without Spirit in it is a fruitless prayer.”

I know each one’s DIVINITY and also know each one is uniquely expressing their DIVINITY. I hold to a higher view instead of focusing on the particulars of a situation.

I enthusiastically focus on claiming and harnessing the PRINCIPLE that God is. As I pray, I see the PRINCIPLES of LIFE, HEALTH, STRENGTH and PEACE being worked to establish health, strength, and peace in all those for whom I pray.

I vigorously affirm principles for

everyone I hold in prayer.

Togetherness

I lavishly share love, peace, and joy

from my DIVINITY.

LOVE, PEACE and JOY are useful aspects of my DIVINITY. I treasure times of quiet and solitude; I also relish togetherness in the company of family, friends, and members of my spiritual community. Whether we aree working, volunteering, praying, or simply enjoying one another’s company, our shared experiences are opportunities for me to support those I care about and, in return, they support me.

I enjoy and value togetherness throughout every season of my life’s journey. During times of trial, hardship, or grief, being in the company of friends and family is comforting; I use it to keep myself strong. Likewise, during times of celebration, I use the company of others to multiply my joy.

In times of togetherness …

I lavishly share love, peace, and joy from my DIVINITY.

 Guidance

I use Divine Ideas to guide myself.

I guide myself with DIVINE IDEAS.

Guidance is easy to find in the outer world. Maps and GPS technology help me navigate my way just about anywhere. Everywhere I go, there are signs marking streets, adorning storefronts, and providing just about every kind of information and opinion imaginable.

Spiritual guidance is often subtle, and is more valuable. This guidance can be a persistent tug on my attention, a gut feeling or intuition, or even a dream as I sleep.

I invest my attention on my inner knowing based on Divine Ideas. I step out in faith to move my steps in its direction. I know the DIVINE IDEAS of LOVE, WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING and WILL are aspects of my DIVINITY.  I consciously use THEM to guide myself toward blessings of greater peace, love, and prosperity.

Comfort

My innate DIVINITY is my comfort.

I sometimes move out of my comfort zone in response to my life experiences. The first day at a new school, starting or leaving a job, a new phase in a relationship, retiring from a career, the passing of a loved one – my response to any change may range from mild discomfort to even grief.

My innate DIVINITY consists of the universal PRINCIPLES of LIFE, LOVE, WISDOM and much more. THEY are my constant resource for comfort through all of life’s changes. I find assurance that, although life’s physical expression may change, it can never end. I know oneness and love with all who have been dear to me. Recognizing my DIVINE NATURE, I know there is no loss, change, or circumstance that can limit me; I find comfort in this deep knowing.

My innate DIVINITY is my comfort.

WILL, UNDERSTANDING & WISDOM

I deploy the POWERS of UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM and WILL to guide my life.

Each day I use my POWERS of UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM AND WILL to make decisions big and small affecting the quality and direction of my life. Using WILL without UNDERSTANDING and WISDOM often leads to unfortunate results.

When I use sense consciousness to inform my POWERS, I am willful and may not be good.  I tend to make choices out of fear and a sense of lack; convenience, comfort or momentary pleasures drive my decisions.

When I use my higher awareness to inform my POWERS of UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM and WILL, my choices support a greater awareness and expression of my DIVINE NATURE. I grow spiritually as I shine my “Christ light” even more brightly.

I release my willfulness so I can create more intentionally from my DIVINITY.

I deploy the POWERS of UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM and WILL to guide my life.

Blessing Fathers

I am grateful for all

expressions of fatherly love.

My relationship with my father may have been positive and nurturing or difficult and challenging. He may have been a strong presence during my childhood, or he may have been absent. We may be part of each other’s lives today, we may be estranged, or he may have passed from earthly life. Whatever our circumstances, I bless my father. He  and everyone is DIVINE LOVE.

As I honor my father, I also honor all the father figures who have helped guide me along my path. Family members, teachers, neighbors, clergy, employers, and friends—I bless them as I recall all the ways each one, in a unique way, has modeled strength, guidance, wisdom, and patience. Their presence remains with me thanks to their  showering me with fatherly love.

I am grateful for all

expressions of fatherly love.

Order

LAW underwrites order in my life and the world.

Spiritual LAWS and natural LAWS are ”cut from the same cloth.” They are DIVINE, not because God made them but because they are God. God is PRINCIPLE; LAW is PRINCIPLE in action.

Charles Fillmore said, “Order is the first law of the universe. Indeed, there could be no universe unless its various parts were kept in perfect harmony” (Mysteries of Genesis, p. 241). LAW underwrites the order demonstrated in the universe.

I notice patterns and order in the universe and the world around me. Everything is orderly because of underpinning LAW, known and unknown.

I notice patterns in my life. As the seasons of nature change, so do the seasons of my life. Even when it is not apparent to me, I know my life is always orderly because of LAW.

LAW underwrites order in my life and the world.

Joy!

Joy is my constant companion.

I discover reasons to feel joyful every day, even in the most challenging circumstances. I begin by centering my awareness on my DIVINITY and the PRINCIPLE of JOY it contains. Well-being, success, good fortune and possibilities fill my thoughts When I am joyful.

I may experience joy as exuberance, delight, and wonder. Joy may also come quietly with the peaceful realization of my DIVINITY wherever I am, whatever I’m doing. My awareness of joy brings a glow to even the most ordinary day.

As I engage wholeheartedly in all that is mine to do today, I share my joy with everyone. Through kind words, a sunny smile, and a warm welcome to everyone I meet, I radiate joy and bless the world with my positivity, happiness, and bliss.

Joy is my constant companion.
