Blessing Fathers

I bless all fatherly influences in my life.

In the United States, today is traditionally an opportunity to show appreciation for fatherly influences. I offer a prayer of gratitude for the fathers who provide necessary guidance, strength, and support for their children.

Whether or not we had a fatherly influence in our lives, it’s encouraging to realize that the Divine underwrites every one of us. Spirit encompasses both father-like and mother-like aspects. While motherly love may seem softer and more appealing, fatherly love is equally important. It is expressed as mentor, guide, and as a supportive presence that is essential to growth – especially spiritual growth and our spiritual purpose.

I give thanks for those who encourage self-discovery, growth, and learning. These are based on Divine Principles and aspects that are father-like.
