Motherly Love

I am grateful for motherly love,

an expression of the Power of Love.

Whatever my gender or personal history, motherly love is an intimate and important experience in my life. Regardless of whether it came from my biological mother or not.

Today is set aside for honoring all mothers who have expressed their Divinity as mother. I pause and remember all who have mothered me. I feel gratitude for their motherly love.

Motherly love is more than simply a warm, pleasant feeling. Today I recognize its tremendous influence in my life expressing as guidance, understanding, comfort and creative energy. I honor that maternal presence as I welcome every opportunity to share it with others.

I am grateful for motherly love, an expression of the Power of Love.
