Faith

I place my faith in my Divinity Identity and expect the best.

Having faith is having joyous expectation and assurance. Placing my faith in my Divine Identity, I expect and manifest positive outcomes. When I pray claiming to successfully accomplish my goals, I know what to think, say and do. If the prayer need is for healing, I claim Life, Health and Wholeness. When I hold a loved one in prayer, I affirm that they use their Divine Identity to bring forth their highest good.

I release negative thoughts, worries, or fear for they are indicators my attention has drifted away from my Divine Nature. I redirect my attention and intention to the awareness of my Divinity. I hold positive outcomes in mind.

My growing spiritual understanding means devoting time to practice. It is a process. So I step forward and place my faith in my Divine Identity. I know I am working Divine now! I place my faith in my Divinity Identity and expect the best.

Prosperity

As I receive, I give.

I may have noticed that when I feel grateful or happy I also feel expansive and prosperous. Gratitude is what I give when I notice that I have received. Receiving precedes giving. We give because we have already received. This is true prosperity – prosperity consciousness. I build this attitude by looking for the good in every encounter. When I set the intention and desire to look for the good, I find the good. When I look for the good I am looking for what is already present and that, in some way, I have already received.  if I cannot immediately see the good, I become still and focus on my Divine Identity. I claim the good which opens my eyes to perceiving what is already there.

For example, in the midst of a challenging meeting or difficult conversation, I pivot my attention away from the situation to my Divinity. I claim the Good I am. I affirm, there is good here.  As I do so I feel light, free, and at peace.  I can now easily perceive the good that has always been present. I am grateful for what I have received. This is prosperity in action! From within the sanctuary of my Beingness, the light shines in my consciousness and true treasure is found as inner peace and joy.

As I see the good, I receive the good and so I give of myself. As I receive, I give.

Pray with Others

In my heart I know I am Divine Light and Love.

Myrtle Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, suggested that our thoughts should be used “bringing God’s kingdom of light and love and order and beauty and health into the earth, into the loves of all people.” Like Myrtle, I serve the world by seeing Divine perfection in everyone.

Centering myself in the presence of my Divinity, I bring my loved ones and all those I pray with to mind. I do so with the awareness that the radiating Christ Principle is innate to everyone.  IT is  greater than any outer circumstances.

I am Divine Light, Love and so much more. I affirm Divine Light, Love and so much more is their Divine Nature too! My loved ones are strengthened, revitalized, guided, and supported in every area of their lives.

Note: I chose not to do “Grace” for Sunday, August 14. In an Absolute context there is nothing to be earned or nothing to be taken away. Each of us is the totality of the Divine. God does not want anything for you because you are already everything that God is at the core of your beingness. I am using the Daily Word from August 5, 2016

Secure

I am secure in the knowledge of my Divine Identity.

James Dillet Freeman’s “Prayer for Protection” states “the power of God protects me.” There is no such thing as an external or even internal entity that protects me. I feel protected and secure because I am God at the very core. I am the Power of God! I am Power, Strength, Dominion and so much more.

This is not to say that I won’t ever feel afraid. I do not judge myself for being scared. Instead I notice when this feeling arises. Then, I pivot my attention away from the darkness of fear toward the light of Divine Life within.  As I remember I am Power, Strength, Dominion and so much more, fear eases and I feel secure. I am secure in the knowledge and experience of my Divine Identity.

Encouragement

Divine Love flowing from me encourages others.

When I pray for others, I affirm that Divine Love flows from them. I give them the blessing of my presence, companionship, love, and support as they discern their own way.

In her poem “Child of Light,” former Daily Word editor Martha Smock wrote: “I see you as a child of light. I see you guided and directed by an inward Spirit that leads you unerringly into the path that is right for you.” Today, I understand this to mean, I know you are Divine. You use your Divine Wisdom and Understanding to direct yourself in a way that is right for you.

With absolute faith, I join my heart with the hearts of those I support and encourage. Bringing our energies together in the spirit of cooperation and compassion encourages feelings of goodness, optimism, courage, and strength. The encouragement I extend to others is an expression of Divine Love flowing from me.

Prayer

I pray using understanding faith claiming Divine Ideas.

In Unity, prayer has 5 steps: relaxation, concentration, meditation, realization and appreciation. During the meditation step we rest in the Silence to re-establish our foundation – we are Divine Mind. I have faith in the immutable Divine Ideas and Laws I know.

In the realization step, I know and claim the Divine Ideas that underlie my prayer intention as they arise into my awareness. When I realize these Truths, I know that I know the timeless Truth. Holding on to a concern simply grows it even bigger in my consciousness by the Law of Mind Action – thoughts held in mind tend to produce more thoughts of the same kind. My intention is for the highest good for all involved. The unity of mind and heart is apparent when I envision the results I have claimed.

I follow my inner Wisdom arising into my awareness. I discern the Divine Ideas and act on them. I do my part to bring my prayer to fruition. I move forward with clarity and assurance. I pray using understanding faith.

Relationships

I behold the Christ Essence in myself and in others.

These words written by Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla remind me that the same Divine Essence underlies every seeming individual including myself: “There is a level in every human soul which knows no conflict, competition, or contempt, a level which knows only peace, harmony, and love. In fact, it is peace and harmony and love, because it is the Christ essence of us.”

When it is hard for me to see this Divine Essence, I can improve the situation by lifting my awareness. I redirect negative reactions by remembering the Christ in me, my Divine Essence. Then I can begin to recognize it in others. In my mind and heart I remember Oneness. Beyond the outer façade of hurt feelings, fears, and apprehension is our Christ identity. Seeing it in others helps them see it in themselves. I behold the Christ Essence in myself and others.

Divine Wisdom

As I claim the Divine Wisdom I Am, I live fully and freely.

I Am Divine Wisdom.  It is my True Nature.  As I claim this Truth, I Am able to first perceive and then know my right and perfect path.  I consciously use Divine Wisdom and Understanding to guide the unfolding of my “soul’s purpose” and experience living life fully and freely.

I practice prayer and meditation to maintain an awareness and claiming of my Infinite Wisdom. I invest time in the Silence and center my mind on what is True.  In the stillness, I reach clarity and envision the next steps I will take.

As I move along life’s journey, I use my feelings as signposts to help me gauge my course.  If I feel joy, courage, peace of mind or contentment, I trust that I Am on my right path.

Each day, I discern what is mine to do to fully express my highest and best self.  Claiming the Divine Wisdom I Am, I live fully and freely.

Divine Wisdom

As I claim the Divine Wisdom I Am, I live fully and freely.

I Am Divine Wisdom.  It is my true nature.  As I claim this truth, I Am open to correctly perceive my right and perfect path.  I allow the unfolding of my innate Divinity and experience living life fully and freely.

To maintain an awareness and claiming of my Infinite Wisdom, I practice prayer and meditation. I devote time in the Silence and center my mind on what is True.  In the stillness, I reach clarity and envision the next steps I will take.

As I move along life’s journey, I use my feelings as signposts to help me gauge my course.  If I feel joy, courage, peace of mind or contentment, then I trust that I Am on my right path.

In the Garden

In the garden of prayer, I experience peace and

heightened spiritual awareness.

Jesus demonstrated the value of investing time with nature and in quiet reflection in support of his divine awareness. Perhaps he felt an urge to be one with nature while praying so as to experience outer and inner peace and beauty.

I, too, can experience that peace. I can stop for a moment and employ my Power of Imagination to picture a beautiful garden, filled with vibrant colors and glorious scents. I breathe deeply, taking in those scents and filling my lungs with clean air. I breathe out, releasing negative thoughts and feel my body releasing stress. My muscles are relaxed and my mind is at peace.

I appreciate this sacred opportunity. Here in the garden, I remember Oneness, knowing the Truth of Life, Health and Wholeness. I experience peace and heightened spiritual awareness.
