Free!

I synchronize my humanity with my DIVINITY; I am free.

When I think of freedom, I imagine a bird in flight, soaring above the earth. As the bird glides, it moves through the air instinctively overcoming the force of gravity. The same is true when it flaps its wings, moving upward and forward.

Likewise, I open my mind and heart and perceive the freeing presence of my DIVINITY. I wisely use the PRINCIPLES that make up my DIVINITY to be powerful and peaceful. As I do, I overcome stifling feelings of stress or doubt. In my humanity I trust my DIVINITY as I move forward and upward with renewed purpose and confidence.

Just as a bird overcomes gravity to fly with purpose, in my humanity I overcome the challenges and circumstances of my life. I find my purpose and live more consciously when synchronized with my DIVINITY.

I synchronize my humanity with my DIVINITY; I am free.

Simplicity

I pause to appreciate life’s simplest pleasures.

Today I am grateful and feel appreciation for the simplest pleasures that I respond to with a smile followed by a warm feeling in my heart. A simple hug from a friend, a cuddle from a grandchild, or stroking the soft fur of a beloved pet fills my awareness with love and joy.

The sudden lift I give myself when seeing a favorite person’s name in my inbox or the thrill of spotting a rainbow after a cleansing rain are catalysts toward lasting happiness in my heart.

These things and more remind me that true contentment is found in life’s smallest moments and the everyday treasures that comprise daily life that remind me of my DIVINITY.

I focus on these simple things and grow in gratitude for my life’s many pleasures.

Praying with Others

My prayer sets in motion GOD-QUALITIES in your life and mine.

I am honored whenever someone asks me to pray. Whatever the prayer request, my responsibility is always the same: recognizing that all QUALITIES of GOD are fully present in everyone regardless of circumstance. These “GOD-QUALITIES are potential forces waiting to be set in motion through the thinking-feeling functions of our consciousness” (adapted from Charles Fillmore’s Atom-Smashing Power of Mind, p. 93).

When asked to pray for healing, I release all thoughts and feelings of illness as I affirm total well-being. I know DIVINE LIFE and INTELLIGENCE are active in every cell.

When asked to pray for abundance, I give no power or importance to thoughts and feelings of lack. I set in motion the PRINCIPLES of ABUNDANCE, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING and LOVE as active forces in the person with whom I am praying. They make wise prospering choices.

World Peace

I live my vision for a peaceful world.

To bring about peace in the world, I focus my attention to my first reaction when I feel I have been treated unjustly. I do not deny my feelings, but neither do I allow anger, envy, or other negative feelings to take control of my response. I feel my feelings as I remain committed to living the TRUTH I know.

Regardless of behavior, every person is fully DIVINE expressing their humanity from their DIVINTY. I draw upon my DIVINE FACULTIES of LOVE, FAITH, STRENGTH and the PRINCIPLE of PEACE to guide my next steps. No matter how another responds, I remain ever centered in my inherent DIVINITY.

My efforts make a difference. Peace between individuals creates peace within families, in communities, and among the nations of the world.

I live my vision for a peaceful world.

Rise Up/ Easter

I rise up using the POWER of CHRIST, my DIVINITY.

I resurrect myself into a brimming new life. I have rolled away the stones of defeat and limitation. I am free and unlimited.

Throughout my Lenten journey, I heeded the call from deep within to recognize the stones in my consciousness. I removed them and awakened more fully to the INFINITE POTENTIAL within me.

I now rejoice in the shimmering light of awareness with an open, joyful heart. My faith is strong, and I am ablaze with my SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING. I rejoice that the eternal, in dwelling PRINCIPLE of LIFE is permeating my mind, heart, and body.

Hope never dies. Jesus transcended death and demonstrated life is eternal. With a grateful heart, I rise up and claim the PRINIPLE of LIFE anew. It’s a new dawn, a new day, a new beginning. I have risen in consciousness.

Palm Sunday

I celebrate my DIVINITY.

Just as the crowd welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem with a spirit of celebration, I engage that same energy today for Palm Sunday. I do this by opening my heart and mind to the DIVINITY that is within me and others whom I meet each day.

My DIVINITY is identical to the DIVINITY in everyone. While in our humanity, we are wondrously distinct.

This welcoming attitude changes me at depth.  Making the commitment to behold the DIVINE in myself and each person I meet, I am symbolically placing palm branches before them, greeting them as Jesus was greeted. 

This celebration of the DIVINE in everyone lays a path of spiritual freedom.  From perfect peace within, I shout “Hosanna!” as my jubilant soul celebrates. 

I celebrate my DIVINITY.

JOY!

I draw from the infinite PRINCIPLE of JOY!

The PRINCIPLE of JOY is one of the PRINCIPLES that GOD is. IT is the resource used for all many expressions joy. As I speak words of praise, I am aware of more blessings.  When I take joyful action, there is a spring in my step. I infuse all I think, say, and do with joy!

I celebrate the playful joy of every child – including my inner child.  I experience the same joy wherever I am – a busy city or the stillness of nature.  And then there is the quiet joy of simply being, perhaps the richest joy of all. 

I rediscover my joy by taking slow, deep breaths, dipping into the infinite PRINCIPLE of Joy that never runs out.  I use JOY to energize and invigorate my heart and life.  Being fully DIVINE and fully human is a joy.

Comfort

I find comfort as I express love.

Saying “I love you” and “I got you” provides comfort for another person’s aching heart and peace in times of uncertainty. Today, I open my heart to loving expressions as a soothing balm for distress or grief.

When I’m concerned about another, I center myself in love. No matter how circumstances appear, I choose love. I enfold them in a sphere of love, encircling them in peace and protection. I know they can order their lives when they lean into their innate DIVINITY.

When I am troubled, I find comfort in the loving words and support of others. I surround myself with those who offer solace in my time of need. I am encouraged by their kindness and compassion.

As we share kindness and love, we hearten souls and bolster faith. We give comfort to ourselves and others.

I find comfort as I express love.

LIGHT – UNDERSTANDING

I am LIGHT! I am UNDERSTANDING.

In the moment I appreciate the beauty of a sunset, in another part of the world, the first rays of a rising sun are lighting the morning sky. The sun never stops shining. Nor does the LIGHT that GOD is.

In his book, The Flow of Life (p. 75), Eric Butterworth said, “… GOD is the light. You are in it. It is in you. It is the reality of you.” God does not have light, GOD is LIGHT. Each of us is LIGHT. Not visible light but the LIGHT of UNDERSTANDING.

Sometimes my thoughts may be so focused on a challenge, I do not sense my LIGHT, my UNDERSTANDING. Then, I breathe out frustration and worry. Breathing in, I remember I am LIGHT. In a flash of UNDERSTANDING, TRUTH illuminates me and shines from my heart and mind.

I am LIGHT! I am UNDERSTANDING.

DOMINION

I claim DOMINION to direct the course of my life.

While I may not be able to control what happens in my life, I am always free to determine how I respond.

Through my DIVINE FACULTY of DOMINION, I have 100% authority over my thoughts, feelings, and actions. Only I decide what to think, say, and do.

If a thought of fear or powerlessness arises, I remember DOMINION as well as the faculties of DIVINE WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, and STRENGTH. They are fully mine whether I’m organizing my day or moving forward after making a life altering decision.

The PRINCIPLE of DOMINION is always mine to claim and use.  Knowing this, I move through life with quiet confidence. I am secure in myself and in the knowledge I am fully DIVINE and fully human. I expand my life into a field of limitless possibility and potential.

I claim DOMINION to direct the course of my life.
