The focus of the third Sunday of Advent is love. The PRINCIPLE of LOVE is present in ITs entirety in us and everywhere at same the time. My use of the PRINCIPLE of LOVE can result in dispelling the darkness of loneliness and even conflict with the light of harmony and togetherness.
I also know LOVE is the basis of our important ability to desire. In Keep a True Lent (p. 146), Charles Fillmore said, “Sincere desire is a form of prayer.”
Love is secular and sacred, human and divine, immediate and immortal, personal and universal. Amid seasonal greetings for hope, peace and joy, I appreciate the importance of the POWER of LOVE. I am responsible for expressing love throughout the world by my words and actions. I am kind, patient, compassionate, empathetic, encouraging, supportive, and so much more.
I seek to embody peace. No matter what might be happening around me, I can rise above that which troubles and distracts me, all that takes my attention away from my spiritual life and my DIVINITY.
PEACE is PRINCIPLE and IT is always mine since it is an aspect of my DIVINITY. When peace feels far away, I re-center myself. I return to the practices I use to calm my mind and open my heart. As I relax and enter the Silence, I center upon my DIVINITY and manifest peace.
That peace is my own. Returning to activity, I carry peace with me. I bring harmony to my interactions, calm to my reactions, and tranquility to every corner of my life. I will be peaceful because I am inherently PEACE Itself.
FAITH is one of the 12 POWERS; IT is a DIVINE IDEA or PRINCIPLE. ITs uses range from hope to conviction. As Advent season begins, I feel a quickening, a renewal deep within me as I embark upon the spiritual journey leading to Christmas.
I may have hope for lasting peace, greater love, or abiding joy. But as I have grown spiritually, I have learned to look for those things within, to claim them as expressions manifested from my DIVINE IDENTITY. Once I do that, I may begin to see them manifest in my life.
Like my other POWERS, it’s up to me to use my Power of FAITH wisely. I have conviction that world peace, love, and joy are possible here and now. I am using the POWER of FAITH with IMAGINATION to envision each manifesting with ease and grace.
I don’t have to search for grace outside myself because it is part of me. From my humanity, grace is based on my DIVINITY and is something I bestow on others and even myself.
I know ONENESS during times of deep spiritual communion, understanding I am fully human and fully DIVINE. The PRINCIPLES of GENEROSITY and BENEVOLENCE are inherent and are the fundamental ingredients of all goodness, including grace.
Through this awareness and practice, my experience of grace deepens. I understand grace as an expression of my generosity and benevolence regardless of circumstance.
Grace is not a blessing I need hope for. It is a limitless blessing I can generously share during all times and circumstances.
I am DIVINE; the DIVINE IDEAS of INTELLIGENCE, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, WILL and LOVE are innate. Centered in my humanity, I claim and use THEM as inherent abilities. Moment by moment, breath by breath, I know THEM as my inner light. I go forth to do what is mine to do, trusting I am moving toward my heart’s desire. Even during trying times, I assure myself that regardless of appearances – like the sun, THEY are present before, during and after a storm.
In times of uncertainty, I enter the Silence. I relax, listen deeply, and give my attention to my inner knower. I am open and receptive to realizing my best direction and how to manifest it.
With unshakable faith, I dare to reach for my dreams.
In our DIVINITY, FAITH is a DIVINE IDEA. In our humanity, we experience IT as the ability to believe and have conviction.
Having faith means I have unwavering fidelity to SPIRITUAL TRUTH in the form of DIVINE IDEAS (PRINCIPLES) and LAWS. My faith keeps me steady during shifting worldly circumstances and not focused on the things of the world but instead on the DIVINE.
I use my POWER of FAITH with STRENGTH to be steadfast during uncertainty. I use IT with IMAGINATION to be inventive when met with stagnation, and ORDER to be adaptable when faced with changing circumstances.
When my humanity is synchronized with my inherent DIVINITY, I am illumined by my belief that I can use anything and everything for good. I go forth with delight in my faith being my foundation.
Looking in a mirror, I see myself at times when my life was changing. I may see the grinning child who lost a tooth for the first time or the proud student on graduation day. Perhaps I recall my ambitions as I embarked on my career. Maybe I feel a tinge of sadness revisiting the pain of the loss I felt during my more difficult transitions.
As I have grown spiritually, I realize the very nature of life is change! No change, no life. I have learned to master life’s transitions. I know that my DIVINTY is always available. I protect myself with the PRINCIPLES of DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING and WILL. In my DIVINITY, I am one with all people. In my humanity, I am distinct.
I master transitions by deepening and strengthening my humanity with my DIVINITY.
I admire the storyteller’s gift for creating fantastic worlds where impossible things happen. I immerse myself in the story, allowing myself to feel the wonder, the exhilaration, and even the sadness the storyteller’s imagination has created. No matter how scary the story is, there is nothing to fear, because it is only a story.
Everyone has the POWER of IMAGINATION, and everyone uses it according to their own consciousness. I use my POWER of IMAGINATION to create my life story. I implement the POWERS of DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and WILL as I imagine a positive meaningful life. If disturbing thoughts cloud my imagination, I remember I can release the disturbing thoughts as I affirm more supportive ones.
I actively engage my POWERS of FAITH, STRENGTH, and LOVE with my POWER of IMAGINATION to build the fulfilling life my heart desires.
Grace is not something God gives to us or others. I am grateful I can consciously use DIVINE IDEAS to know and give grace to others and myself. Since each of us is 100% DIVINE and 100% human, we can synchronize ourselves through prayer and meditation. In so doing, we are poised to share grace instead of lashing out in anger or frustration.
Grace flows from the awareness of DIVINE LOVE, BENEVOLENCE, and GENEROSITY. My conscious awareness of my DIVINITY helps me to sustain a loving and kind presence in challenging times. I also can lift myself to higher and higher levels of awareness.
I accept grace from others with gratitude when I stumble along life’s path. I so appreciate receiving understanding, kindness, and grace when I may have been expecting far less.
I am secure in my prosperity when I share my abundance generously and receive graciously without a thought or feeling of any kind of return.
Whatever I share with a loving, giving heart blesses me as much as it blesses the one who receives it. Each time I share my supply, I am demonstrating my trust that I will always have what I need. When I share of myself, I am living my faith that I am fully DIVINE and fully human empowered with a limitless supply of DIVINE IDEAS.
We live in an abundant universe. Knowing this, I don’t hesitate to be generous so others may know the abundance of the world as I know it. Through my giving, may they also know the joy of receiving. I know the joy of receiving as others give to me.
