Clarity

Time invested in my DIVINITY

brings more clarity.

When I gaze toward the sky on a moonlit night, I expect to see twinkling stars and constellations. When I use a telescope, I can see details with much greater clarity.

This example could describe my spiritual life as well. I may go about my day mindful of my blissful feelings and kinship with all the people. These things and more are the fruits of my faith.

I also find clarity during times of intentional contemplation. When I meditate upon the TRUTH, I feel the presence of my DIVINITY filling my awareness and touching my heart. This clarity informs my thoughts, feelings, words and actions, bringing my faith to vivid life.

Faith

I faithfully radiate my INNER LIGHT brighter.

Pulling back a curtain in a dark room drives the darkness out and floods the space with light.

I remember this at those times when my life feels dark. I choose to live from my POWER of FAITH which floods “spiritual light” into any sense of darkness I may have. I have faith that my DIVINITY is always shining. Little by little, my awareness of my DIVINITY grows increasingly brighter until I can perceive the DIVINE everywhere.

I am fully DIVINE and fully human. I place my faith in this TRUTH and drive out any dark fears and doubts that I may have used to shrink from the fullness of life.

Shining my LIGHT in the world, I inspire those around me to rely on their POWER of FAITH to grow brighter.

JOY! 

I delight in being fully alive and joyous.

In The Revealing Word, Charles Fillmore shares, “Joy and gladness are strength-giving, especially if the relative mind is fixed on UNIVERSAL MIND, the UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE.” JOY is one of the many PRINCIPLES that make up GOD, the UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE. The PRINCIPLE of JOY is present and available in ITS entirety in each of us.

I discover JOY when “leaning into” my DIVINITY. When I am joyful, I delight in sharing kindness and love this holiday season. I am compassionately loving as I align my heart with the PRINCIPLE of LOVE. My heart beats with a steady rhythm of love and joy.

I share joy with everyone. Every day is an opportunity to uplift others with a smile, considerate gesture, or a quiet word. I feel joy in my heart with each act of kindness.

I delight in being fully alive and joyous.

Love

My love guides the way. 

LOVE is one of the 12 POWERS. It is our ability to desire, unify, harmonize, and, yes, love. In Jesus Christ Heals, Charles Fillmore said, “God is love; that from which all loving springs.” (pg. 29) He also said, God is not loving, God is love, the great heart of the universe and of man, from which is drawn forth all feeling, sympathy, emotion, and all that goes to make up the joys of existence.” (pg. 27)

During this Advent season, I remember and experience the rebirth of the Christ in me. I remember I am the one turning the POWER of LOVE into loving. The love I give is the love I experience.

I express love in my thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. Through love, I transform perceived negativity into a blessing. Centered in love, I guide my way.

 PEACE

 I claim PEACE no matter what 

In The Revealing Word, Charles Fillmore said, “By the term MIND, we mean GOD – the universal PRINCIPLE which contains all PRINCIPLES.” The PRINCIPLE of PEACE is one of those PRINCIPLES.  So, in my DIVINITY, I am DIVINE PEACE. In my humanity, I am peaceful.

I turn my thoughts and feelings to peace through meditation and prayer. When I experience a sunset, a gentle touch, or a comforting hug, I choose to experience peace too.

I can be peaceful inside regardless of what is happening outside. When I focus on peace, worries and troubles melt away.

The PRINCIPLE of PEACE is greater than any worldly condition or inner experience. Utilizing the PRINCIPLE of PEACE, I remain centered and calm. I don’t move off-center in the face of minor irritations. Nor do they linger in my awareness.

I claim PEACE no matter what.

Grace

I choose grace regardless of circumstance.

The PRINCIPLES of LOVE, BENEVOLENCE and GENEROSITY are the very foundation of grace. Grace is a way to be, see, and live. It is the ability to change my mind when enmeshed in error thinking.

Grace is not a special act of God when I think I least deserve it. It is a choice I make from the awareness of my DIVINITY.

Grace the quiet whisper of a word of support.  It’s in the tenderness of a simple touch. It is mine to give and mine to receive.

Grace is what I offer another at the very moment I think they deserve a sharp rebuke or something worse. Grace is something I give myself at the very moment I think I least deserve it. Grace is compassion in action.

Prosperity

 I demonstrate prosperity.

We demonstrate prosperity using the DIVINE IDEAS of ABUNDANCE and SUBSTANCE. Like all DIVINE IDEAS, THEY are unlimited and more than sufficient to meet every need. THEY can never be changed or used up.

Current flowing through my home’s wiring provides light, but first I must put a “demand” on it by flipping the switch to turn it on. DIVINE SUBSTANCE, the DIVINE IDEAS that underpin everything, is the resource used to manifest prosperity. I must put a demand on SUBSTANCE for IT to come forth.

There are at least two ways of keeping prosperity at the forefront of my consciousness.  First, I give freely and generously without expectation of return. Second, I receive freely without any obligation of giving something in return. I know true prosperity when I live from these TRUTHS.

Divine Order

I divinely order my life according to PRINCIPLE and LAW.

“Order is the first law of the universe. Indeed, there could be no universe unless its various parts were kept in perfect order.” (Fillmore, Charles, The Revealing Word, under “Divine Order) Everything operates according to immutable LAW.

Life is in constant motion, even if that motion is imperceptible to me. Little by little, one season turns into the next.

When I feel stuck in place or impatient with my progress, I consider the gradual yet orderly pattern of the seasons as they change. My growth and understanding may happen in much the same way. Even if I don’t notice changes day to day, my life is always in motion and in order. While motion and change are guaranteed by the LAW, I choose the direction of MY motion and change.

I divinely order my life according to PRINCIPLE and LAW.

Protection

I find my protection in my innate DIVINITY.

I smile and act frightened as I recognize the neighborhood children who come to my door wearing scary masks and costumes. Children of all ages enjoy playing make-believe. Pretend fright is part of the fun of Halloween.

Now and then, in response to an unexpected and unwelcome challenge, more serious thoughts of fear seep into my mind and upset my emotional well-being. At the first hint of unease, I remember all the TRUTH that GOD is exists at the point of me … IT is me! I say no to fear and yes to the underlying LOVE fear attempts to hide.

My confidence grows as I remember my innate DIVINITY. I lean into IT remembering DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANING, LOVE and WILL are  everywhere I go and in everything I do.

 I find my protection in my innate DIVINITY.

Passion

My purpose fuels my passion.

The POWER of ZEAL lies back of all passion, enthusiasm and, yes, zeal! My self-selected purpose is my “why.” It sets my heart aflame with passion. Passion is that extra oomph of energy I bring to everything I enjoy doing. Each day, I awaken ready to answer the desire of my heart, to give my best efforts and fullest attention to purposeful activity.

I express the glory of my DIVINITY through my humanity. When in alignment with my passion, I feel the most alive. I am filled with energy and zeal and color the world with hope and promise – I recognize the DIVINE PRESENCE behind everything.

The life energy that radiates from me inspires others to live a life of purpose and passion, to boldly express their DIVINITY as only they can.
