Leash adverse ego, unleash my Divine Identity

I express my Divine Identity and trust IT in others.

It is proper for parents to oversee and to have appropriate control of their children. However, when their children get on the school bus, parents lose oversight and control. Parents must let go and let their children go on their way. They must leash their ego’s need for control and unleash their Divine Identity and trust their children’s innate Divinity.

When children become adults – beginning careers, starting families – the best parents can do is “positively influence” their children, the worst they can do is to try and control them. This is also true with other family members and friends.

We can also pause, take a deep breath, and remember we to let go of our adverse egos and unleash our innate Divinity – our Divine Identity. In doing so, we remember and faithfully know that each family member and friend has their own innate Divine Identity. We see them using IT to be the best they can be. I express my Divine and trust IT in others.

Spiritual Nature

I expand and evolve my spiritual nature.

When I hunger for satisfaction or feel uncertain of who I am or what I should be doing, I remember WHAT I am. I turn within my consciousness to become more aware of my Innate Divinity, the “raw material” I use to manifest and evolve my spiritual nature.

I am open to new ideas as I read thought-provoking articles and books. I am free to contemplate, accept the ideas that resonate with me, and set others aside for later consideration. I use exploration and reflection to understand my humanity – who I am – and my Divinity – What I Am.

I explore my Divine Nature by deepening my awareness of Divine Principles which are really Divine Ideas.  Through meditation I set the foundation for becoming aware of Divine Ideas; through prayer I claim and put a “demand” on Divine Ideas by using Divine Law. With each step I take, I discover more about myself. Every path I explore reveals new ideas that further the expansion of my mind. I expand and evolve my spiritual nature.

Motherly Love

I give thanks for the abiding strength of motherly love.

I bless and give thanks to all mothers everywhere. I praise their fortitude and commitment and applaud each one’s tireless, selfless devotion. I am in awe and admiration for the diverse, beautiful expressions of the sacred activity of motherhood throughout the world!

I take a moment to recognize that love abides in me. No matter what my gender, I can be caring, devoted, affectionate, tender, and kind. I am grateful for my capacity for boundless patience and unconditional love as I support, protect, strengthen, and nurture others. I give thanks for the abiding strength of motherly love.

True Nature       

I am Divine!

I am Divine; my divinity is my Spirit and it is the fundamental basis underlying my personality and body. Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, said, “It is your mission to express all that you can imagine God to be. Let this be your standard of achievement; never lower it, nor allow yourself to be belittled by the cry of sacrilege. You can attain to everything that you can imagine. If you imagine that it is possible to God, it is also possible to you. Whatever possibility your mind conceives, that is for you to attain.” (Talks on Truth, pp. 99 – 100). Stated in today’s langauge, “Whatever the Divine is, I am!” For example, each of the 12 Powers is a Divine Idea that makes up Mind-Idea that God is. The Twelve Powers make up aspects of my Divinity.

Even in times when I think I am separate and in my humanness, my humanness is still based on originating Divine Ideas but from a very limited level of understanding. However, when I invest time to once again remember my Divinity, I go back to the originating Divine Ideas; I manifest myself in more spiritual ways.  Every moment is a chance for me to more fully express my Divine qualities. I am a better person when I remember my Divinity and live more consciously from this awareness.  I am Divine!

Caregiver

As I care for others, I bless them and myself.

Perhaps the most difficult job anyone can undertake is that of a caregiver. It is a full-time commitment that requires tremendous energy, confidence, and inner strength. Although challenging at times, caregiving is rewarding. Investing quality time with a loved one while sharing moments and memories is priceless.

I give thanks for those who have cared for me over the years – parents, friends, teachers, nurses and doctors – and the roles they have played in my life. I am grateful for their care and support. From time to time, opportunities arise where I get to care for others.

Caregiving is an opportunity to share my love and skills in compassionate and caring ways. By giving of myself in this way, I receive unlimited joys and blessings. As I care for others, I bless them and myself.

Joyful

I am Divine, I am joyful!

Joy is a quality I experience when I activate my Power of Zeal. Often this is unconscious.  Consciously choosing joy allows me to approach any circumstance with lightness of spirit and sense of humor. I sing a happy tune, invest time in an uplifting story or maybe find pictures of baby animals! I love life!

When I look at situations with optimism, I become aware of the wonder of the world around me. My bliss does not depend on outer conditions; rather happiness becomes my innate response, willing up from within. Because of the Law of Mind Action, one joyful thought and associated feeling starts a chain reaction, just as a ready smile invites others to smile too.

I develop and create the life I want based on the Divine Principle of Zeal using the Law of Mind Action. I am Divine! I am joyful!

Illumination

Divine Wisdom and Understanding illumine

my mind and actions.

A health or financial challenge may cloud my thoughts. Discord in business or personal relationships may feel overwhelming. Yet, regardless of these appearances, I can see beyond them when I affirm the Truth: Divine Wisdom and Understanding illumine my mind and actions.

When I switch my focus from negative thoughts and feelings to supportive ones, I am using the Law of Substitution. No longer does the past or present preoccupy my thinking and feeling in negative ways. Instead, I abide in the comforting awareness of my innate Divinity at all times and all ways.

Centering my mind on constructive, loving, faith-filled ideas, I spiritually awaken. In quietness and confidence, I rise above limitation and fear. I rejoice in the light of a new day. Divine Wisdom and Understanding illumine my mind and actions.

Leash ego, Unleash Divinity

I leash my ego view and unleash my Divinity

by honoring the Divinity in every person.

Each person I encounter is uniquely expressing Infinite Spirit. While I might recognize this intellectually, I might not always behave as if it were true. From my limited ego view, I may convince myself that I know what is best for a loved one and struggle to get that person to change.

In such cases, as I take a deep breath, I remember my own Divinity and the Divinity present in every person. I use the Power of Faith to believe in their innate spiritual intelligence and wisdom. Trusting this, I leash my ego view and any efforts to control or change anyone else. I unleash my Divinity; I honor the Divinity of each individual.

I remember Spirit is timelessly present, available and the fundamental Truth of everyone. I relax and know each person is uniquely expressing their Divinity.

Christ Potential

I am aware of the Christ Potential arising me.

Today is Easter Sunday – a time to remember and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ as recorded by the writers of the Christian Gospels. Metaphysically, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his resurrection represent the crossing out of error consciousness and the resurrection of the awareness of the Christ Potential in each of us.

We are Spirt, soul [personality] and body. I transform soul and body through the awakening and deepening awareness of Spirit – “my” innate Christ Potential and Its concomitant Christ Consciousness.

Every day I have an opportunity to use my increased awareness of my Divine Nature to be better and better. I consciously use my Christ Nature – the 12 Powers – to  transcend limiting thoughts and habits. I claim Life, wholeness and health now restoring and renewing me in all ways. I rest in the Truth, the Spiritual Laws and Principles that I constantly use to be a better me!

It is in these times of renewal that I say, “I am radiant and fully alive! I utilize my Christ Nature and Divine Ideas and Laws to transform myself”

I Am

All that God is I AM!

In the Book of Exodus, Moses learns God’s true name is “I AM.” Since there is only Oneness then I AM must be my True Identity, God. My existence is not separate, different or distinct from God.

A fundamental Unity statement in begins with, “There is only one Presence and one Power …! If I were separate then there would be an opposing “presence and power!” In fact, there would be a separate and opposing “presence and power” for every individual that exists or ever existed.

God is my True Identity.  I AM intrinsically good. I readily use and express I AM as unconditional Love, Power, forgiveness and so much more. I claim infinite Wisdom and Understanding. I use them to be wise and compassionate in all my affairs. I AM creative and prosperous in all my activities.

I refrain from putting words of lack or limitation after the phrase, “I AM”. I only claim the Divine Qualities that make up my Divine Nature. I bring them forth from the depths of my Beingness through the power of the Word. I AM Christ, I AM whole and perfect – my True Identity is the Divine … is God!

All that God is I AM!
