Authenticity

I am free to be my TRUE SELF.

Today I may be called to fill many roles: parent, child, spouse; partner, friend, neighbor; coworker, consumer, citizen. As I contemplate the unwavering power of infinite LOVE, I understand that my TRUE SELF, my AUTHENTIC SELF, is DIVINE. I know how to speak and act for the highest good of all concerned. I express myself with courage and compassion.

In strife, my words and actions bring forth peace, reconciliation, and wholeness. In accord, my contribution is a magnet for joy, beauty, and abundance. Trusting my AUTHENTIC SELF, I call upon the glory of my INFINITE POTENTIAL to transform ordinary circumstances into magnificent possibilities.

I am free to be my TRUE SELF.

Service

I joyfully serve others.

Unity’s Fifth Basic Principle simply says, “Knowing the spiritual Truth is not enough, it must be lived.”

I intentionally develop my spiritual life by reading, studying, praying and meditating. I know spiritual understanding is not enough, so I am an active part of my spiritual community. I find ways to joyfully serve others.

Any act of kindness is a form of service. It might be volunteering to help the poor and it also could be mowing a neighbor’s lawn, letting someone ahead in the grocery line, or carpooling with children. Service ranges from full-time care giving to something as simple as listening. Anything I do to make life a little easier for another is service. I see opportunities to serve as soon as I look for them. Service is a spiritual practice.

I joyfully serve others.

Inner Peace

I am Divine; I am at peace as peace flows from me now.

When I feel stressed by the busyness of my day, I remember peace is as close as my next thought and feeling. No matter what is happening around me, I can always choose to experience deep inner peace. Finding peace requires no strenuous effort but only remembering my innate Divinity is changeless and always at peace.

Exhaling all tension, I inhale and center myself in the awareness of peace within me. Inner peace calms my thoughts and emotions while relaxing my body. With each breath, peace fills my awareness and radiates from me. I continue to draw from this deep well of peace within me as I resume my daily activities. I have renewed energy and a quickened awareness of my Infinite Presence.

I am Divine; I am at peace as peace flows from me now.

Rut roh! I copied and pasted the Absolute Word for July 28th by mistake.
There is a saying I heard while I lived in Puerto Rico, “Slow down, we are in a hurry!” At moments like this, I feel how this saying rings true.

Time Enough

I have time, Faith, and Strength enough to do

what I know is mine to do.

I look forward to what I plan to accomplish today.  First, as I center into the awareness of my Divinity, the peace passing all understanding quiets my mind, calms my emotions, and relaxes my body.

Second, in prayer, I claim and quicken my Divine Faculties of Love, Wisdom, Understanding, and Order. Then, I knowingly organize my time in ways that allow me to fulfill important commitments, contribute to my own and others’ spiritual growth, and provide the physical activity and rest my body needs. Living from my Divine Identity, I also recognize and release activities that do not contribute to my highest good.

I guide myself as my day unfolds using my Divine Faculties of Wisdom, Understanding, Will and Order. I affirm: 

I have time, Faith, and Strength enough to do

what I know is mine to do.

Pray with Others

I faithfully see the Truth underlying any situation.

When I’m asked to pray with others, I look beyond their story of their lives. Instead I discern the fundamental Attributes beneath appearances to find the sacred essence of each situation.

I know each of us is expressing these fundamental Divine Qualities that we are.  I affirm that others are always activating Divine Qualities like patient Strength, healing Life, harmonizing Love, prospering Wisdom, and so much more. I see the Divine Nature of every person and know they are accessing and using all the fundamental Attributes that their Divinity is!

Seeing these deeper Truths allows me to stand firm in faith as I pray with others. No matter how sad or discouraged they may feel, I pray, knowing their innate Strength, Life, Love and Wisdom.

I faithfully see the Truth underlying any situation.

Guidance

I guide my thoughts, words and actions using Divine Love, Wisdom, and Understanding.

How empowering it is to know that every Principle God is, I Am. I am always using Them to express my life, my body, my personality and even in the most ordinary decisions and events! I become more aware and adept at using my Divine Nature as I become more conscious of Its Principles.

I release any limiting thoughts and beliefs as I deliberately attune my mind and heart to the constant presence of the Divine Principles making up my Beingness. My awareness of Omnipresent Principles becomes deeper and stronger.  I intentionally rely on my Principles of Love, Wisdom and Understanding to guide my thoughts, words and actions. As I fully realize unfailing God-Power, I go forward with renewed faith, vision, and purpose.

Wholeness

I quicken my Power of Divine Life; I express wholeness.

John’s Gospel tells the story of Jesus’ healing encounter at the pool of Bethesda with a man who had been ill for 38 years. People believed that at certain times after an angel stirred the waters of the pool, the first person to enter the water would be healed. When Jesus asked the man if he wanted to be made well, the man explained that he had no one to help him to the pool when the water was stirred up. Hearing Jesus say, “Stand up, take your mat and walk,” the man shifted his belief in limitation and freed himself. He quickened Divine Life restoring himself to wholeness.

Like the man at the pool, I let go of all belief in illness and limitation. I experience new vitality.

I quicken my Power of Divine Life; I express wholeness.

Spiritual Journey

I continue my spiritual journey,claiming my Divinity.

My life is a spiritual journey that began long before my birth. I am than a seeker on my spiritual journey; I dive ever more deeply into an awareness of Omnipresence and Oneness. Even when I have not been seeking, my innate Divine Nature is always right here.

The psalmist asks, “Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?” No matter how far I may have strayed, a renewed awareness of my Divinity is always as near as my next thought. When I feel stuck or even lost, I boldly claim my innate Divinity and find my way again.

I am more than simply a spiritual seeker; I am a finder of my Divinity. I discover my Divine Nature at deeper and deeper levels.  

I continue my spiritual journey, claiming my Divinity.

Blessing for Fathers

I honor all father figures in my prayers.

Today I recognize and honor the fatherly influences in my life, whether as parent, mentor, teacher, or coach. Their encouragement, guidance and belief in me influenced belief in myself.

My prayers include new fathers and stepfathers who are learning the importance, dedication, and patience it takes. I bless the role models who are helping to build life skills and live by example. Whether changing a diaper, telling a story, attending school functions, or teaching how to ride a bike, at the heart of all that matters is love.

Their Divine Essence is active in their lives. I affirm and claim they live in this awareness and enjoy the experience of watching children discover who and What they – their Divinity – are as well as what they are capable of achieving.

I honor all father figures in my prayers.

Divine Life

I celebrate Divine Life each and every day.  

I am spiritually centered in whatever I do; I am consciously aware of unlimited Divine Life, and so much more, at the core of my Beingness. In body and mind, I celebrate with wonder. I use perfect Universal Life to renew, revitalize, restore, and energize myself. I am wholly and vibrantly alive—aglow with pure, dynamic Life.

I greet the day with eager anticipation of the fantastic and unexpected which are a normal part of my Beingness. I am ever-evolving using Divine Principle according to the Law of Divine Order, which is Mind-Idea-Expression.

In each moment, I strengthen my faith, courage, joy, wisdom, happiness, and love. I live each day in celebration of the Universal Principle of Life

I celebrate Divine Life each and every day.
