My Story

I mentor others by sharing spiritual lessons I have learned.

Twelve-step recovery programs have long recognized the healing power of sharing our stories. I have learned that my stories of overcoming are not simply my own. They are meant to be unique contributions to the realization of the new state of consciousness that Jesus describes as the Kingdom of Heaven.

An adage from recovery programs shares, “We are only as sick as our secrets.” Whatever I am afraid to share becomes a dangerous darkness within me. I don’t need to share everything with everyone I meet, but I need to be willing to share freely as I am prompted by my Spiritual Nature. I see myself through divine perception as an over-comer, spiritual victor and “thriver.” I am not a victim of life’s circumstances. Telling my story is a powerful way to share the spiritual lessons I have learned.

Insight

I trust in my spiritual insight; I am at peace.

My personal experience is a guide as I deal with life challenges. I appreciate my acquired skills and the many ways I use them. Still, at times a new perspective is needed to take a fresh look for any missed opportunities or solutions.

I rely on my innate spiritual insight for new perspectives. My spiritual insights are underwritten by my Divine Identity. My Divine Identity is underwritten by Oneness. As I rely on my spiritual insight, I gain new experiences while fears and challenges are dissolved and alleviated.

I find both courage and peace. No proof is needed, or even possible, for my spiritual insight. I simply trust, and I am at peace.

Change

I use my Divine Nature to safely guide my way through change.

Change is the hallmark of the relative world in which we live. I, too, can change. Change is an essential element of my spiritual journey. However, my core and foundation is my never changing, utterly dependable Divine Nature. I use my Divine Nature to make the choices that effectively move me forward.

If negative ways of thinking and feeling appear or reappear, I can always change. In faith, I boldly step forward.

Change allows for new and better choices. No need to resist it or forcefully seek it out. I relax and trust my innate Divinity, my “Gold Standard,” to which I compare my relative life and choices. I experience It as an inner urge to be and do better.

I use my Divine Nature to safely guide my way through change.
