Forgive

I forgive and see the Divinity of others.

As long as I exist in this human experience, resentments, fears, and negative judgments may be part of my journey. I dissolve these negative reactions when I choose to know the Divinity of others and myself. In doing so, I am discovering and expressing my spiritual purpose.

The bottom line spiritual purpose for everyone is discovering and expressing their Divine Identity. One key to fulfilling this purpose is forgiveness – seeing from the perspective of our innate Spiritual Nature, free from the illusions of this mortal world. From the perspective of our Divine Identity, we expand the expression of love every day. We only see the Divinity of others.

Today, I forgive. I joyfully release any resentments, fears, or negative judgments I may hold concerning others – particularly myself. I see the Divinity of others by knowing my Divinity first.

I forgive and see the Divinity of others.

Father’s Blessing

I behold the Divine Nature of all fathers; I bless them.

A beloved and often repeated prayer by individual and in groups begins, “Our Father …” Traditionally, this is a reference to a separate, male deity. In Unity, we know this to be the way Jesus referred to his Christ Nature.

There is both great responsibility and reward in playing the role of a father. Encouraging confidence in young ones calls for a parent to be present in all stages of children’s lives. Often it’s not until after years of being present – sometimes when kids think they are smarter than adults – that fathers are appreciated for their wisdom and devotion.

A prayer is a powerful way to bless fathers: “Centered in and from my Divine Identity, I bless all fathers claiming they use Divine Wisdom and Love to be wise and loving parents.” And perhaps a prayer is even more immediate when a father or a father-to-be prays from and centered in their Divine Identity, “I claim all my innate Powers so that I use them to guide myself in being a father that enriches the lives of my children.”

World Peace

I AM peace and love contributing to world peace.

From my limited human perspective I may feel powerless as I consider the news of the world. The reality is this: I AM Divine from which divine energies of peace and love flow freely. I use the words I AM with care, because they are my spiritual identity, the name of my Divine Identity.

I joyfully claim and express those energies by affirming: I AM peace and love. Doing so, I contribute to the creative focus that is bringing a world of peace and love into expression.

Today I make a conscious choice to experience peace – even at the slightest appearance of conflict, I know the choices I make today will manifest themselves to the world in wonderful, transformative ways.

Release ego, claim my Divine Identity!

In the Silence, I rest in my Divine Identity.

Jesus went to the mountaintop to pray. He left the crowds and his disciples to be fully present in the Silence. My mountaintop retreat may be symbolic as I seek time apart. Whether in a chapel, a favorite chair, or quiet moments carved out from a hectic schedule, I invest time in the Silence of my Divine Identity.

In the Silence, in this inner chamber, away from outer distractions, I meditate, then pray and realize Divine Ideas. I am open  to inspiration arising from my Divinity. I use Divine Understanding and Wisdom to determine my direction. In sacred Oneness, I feel the assurance and peace of my Divine Nature. I relax my body, gently set aside my concerns, focus on my breathing, and feel love and peace.

In the Silence, I rest in my Divine Identity.

Divinity

I know my Divinity and see the Divine around me.

Ralph Waldo Emerson described prayer as “the soliloquy of a beholding and jubilant soul.” My Divine Spirit is always nudging me to behold the love within my heart and to celebrate it. I was born with an unlimited capacity of joy and love, so it is easy for me to live as the jubilant soul Emerson identified. When I pray, I am grateful for Divine Love and Joy expressing in my being.

I acknowledge the Divine in all living things. I release any preconceived images and ideas about people and situations. And instead behold the Divine in each one. From this higher viewpoint, I know and see the goodness in all.

With a gladness of heart, I embrace my strong inclination and desire to know my Divinity and see the Divine around me.

I know my Divinity and see the Divine around me.

Divine Order

I appreciate the Law of Divine Order

as I clearly express every part of my life.

There is a satisfaction in feeling that my own ego mind is in control of the events in my life – today and for days to come. However, there is a deeper, richer satisfaction that I experience when I remember the Power and Presence that underwrites everything in the universe including my ego; It is the core of my Beingness. I release my limitation and use Divine Order (Mind – Idea – Expression) to flow and express in order and harmony.

There is one Power. Therefore any and all Power I am is that Power. I am more vast than my ego mind can imagine. I use Power to live in my purpose. I know that my day unfolds as an expression of that purpose.

I give thanks for the Law of Divine Order in my life. I joyously embrace and rely upon the clarity that expresses in every part of my life. From my deepest Divinity, I bless my Mother.

Mother

From my deepest Divinity, I bless my Mother.

Benevolence is a Divine Idea or Principle that is innate in me. I can use Benevolence in a multitude of ways. I use it to nurture and care for other people. In turn, I feel nurtured and cared for by others who have shared unconditional love and acceptance with me.

Blessing others is another way I can consciously use the Principle of Benevolence. Today, I use it to bless my Mother whether still on this early plane or not. On another level, a mother can be anyone who takes on a role of caring for a child – whether that person is a biological or adoptive parent, another relative, a teacher, or a friend.

The most important aspect in being a mother is to love and care for a child unconditionally. Patience and compassion are mainstays for these expressions of love in action. Just as caring mothers hold loved ones in their arms, so, too, do I hold them in my prayers.

Prosperous

I am prosperous because there is an abundance of unlimited Divine Ideas for me to use.

Some people may think of prosperity as something to be earned, a goal to be achieved. In spiritual Truth, the prosperity of my Divine Identity is a fact. It is in the form of Divine Ideas. Divine Ideas underwrite everything in the universe from the smallest particle to atoms to every cell of my body. They are the starting point of every thought, feeling and action I take.

Sometimes I do not feel prosperous.  In these times, I am forgetting to stay vigilant against erroneous thoughts and feelings when they appear.

Not to worry! Such negative thoughts and feelings are dissolved as I deny giving any importance to them and affirm the fact that my Divine Identity is unlimited. I also appreciate the many ways in which I am prosperous in my life. I am more prosperous when I experience my Divine Divinity and open to wisely use Divine Ideas according to Divine Law.

I am prosperous because there is an abundance of unlimited Divine Ideas for me to use.

Flexibility

I am Divine Wisdom and Order; I embrace change with poise and flexibility.

Life is filled with unexpected changes and challenges such as divorce, loss of a job, or medical diagnosis. Whatever the challenging circumstance, I do not become fearful or rigid. I recognize that I can never be truly lost or permanently stuck – even if it might sometimes feel that way. My ability to gracefully adapt to life’s twists and turns hinges on my firm conviction that I am Divine imbued with many Principles including Divine Wisdom and Divine Order.

Divine Wisdom and Divine Order are two Principles I use to manage my life. I use Divine Wisdom to evaluate all situations so that I can effectively use Divine Order to make adjustments to my benefit and the benefit of others. I embrace all unknowns with poise, wisely adjusting to every new circumstance. I am Divine, I stay openhearted, flexible, and calm.
